Inside Track

Description: A business skills development game situated in the context of the NYC subway system. Collaborating with a team of fellow game design students (Julia Itani, Gina Antao, Philip Stewart), we researched, designed, prototyped, and play tested this game for a video games and education course.

The objective of this prototype was to take a specific aspect of NYC and interpret and apply that specific aspect to an educational context for game. Our chosen topic was the NYC subway system.  Our learning objective was to utilize the game as the grounds for developing the skills of negotiation, tactic, and collaboration skills.  Unfortunately, I do not have snapshots of the overall game available. Since I created many of the game pieces (graphics, cards, etc.), I will gather them up and post once they’re organized.

Role: Collaborated on educational theory paper, game design, and design of game pieces
